Our focus is to teach the basic principles of acoustic and electric guitar and get you started playing songs that you like. For beginners, this means starting with the open chords. For more experienced players, we'll work on increasing your chord vocabulary by mastering the barre chords and other "jazz" chords. We can draw from my extensive database of songs that I've already taught and know, or you can bring in specific music you want to learn. For those interested in improvising and soloing, we'll work out the various scale positions and patterns using prerecorded musical background tracks.
