For those that want our most thrilling and challenging adventure, the White Salmon River trip is available in July and August. Unique, pool and drop rapids await, such as Corkscrew Falls, Waterspout, and Stairstep Falls. This river also features the 14-foot Husum Falls, which is the tallest commercially rafted waterfall in the country (optional)! The vegetation is lush, and with the cliffs so close you will have a very intimate feeling towards this beautiful federally protected "Wild & Scenic River". The White Salmon is recommended for paddlers who are in relatively good shape and ready to take on the challenge of a technical class IV river. It will definitely be one of the most beautiful and exciting rafting trips you will ever take! July and August Minimum Age: 10 4 Hours from Seattle 1 Hour from Portland.
