Join us on this course for some great climbing on both snow and ice, and you'll come away with a full understanding of the fundamentals of winter climbing. It all starts here for people headed toward the winter pursuits of ice climbing or winter mountaineering. In this full-day course, we will outfit you with all the gear required to move on steep snow and moderate-angled ice.

	WHAT TO WEAR Wear clothes appropriate for the days weather! Close toed shoes. Light hiking shoes or sneakers, no need for full-on boots. No sandals.
	ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Climbing School furnishes all technical equipment for all courses. This includes climbing shoes or boots, ice axes, crampons, harnesses, ropes, helmets and all associated hardware. If you have your own gear, bring it along, though if its out-of-date and poses safety issues we will encourage you to use ours. You are required to bring clothing appropriate for your day out.
	BOOKING AVAILABILITY To secure a spot, we recommend that you select a date 1 week in advance of your experience date.
