(From Yelp...) If you want to learn REAL Kung Fu, look no further.
The instructors recently came from China to bring Chicago top-notch Wushu/ Kung Fu/ San Shao/ Sanda/ Chi Na(joint locks) & Tai Chi.
The classes are intense and very difficlut, but one will learn self defense, discipline, and how to fight, as well as external (kung fu) or internal (Tai Chi) forms.
I am an especially big fan of the Sanda, or Chinese kickboxing classes. San Shou is kickboxing that incorporates throws and some grappling as well. And unlike regular kickboxing, it also allows low kicks and elbow strikes.
The instructors teach both traditional Kung Fu forms (Shaolin) and contemporary Wushu (Like what Jet Li became famous for).
This is Martial Arts the way it ws meant to be: instructors who were proffessional practitioners in China. They have trained in Kung Fusince a very young age, and their knowledge is immense.
I can't recommend Allstar Kung Fu any higher.
